Understanding a Crane - Virtual Training
Join us for this virtual video course where you will learn as if in a classroom setting. PowerPoint will be presented and then a video of actual crane removal will be watched. The instructor will be available to answer questions via chatbox. Instructor Todd Kramer - Kramer Tree Specialists

About the Event
This course will train workers on the proper use of a mobile crane while performing arborist tasks.
The first session will be taught using PowerPoint and the filming portion will show part of the tree being removed using a Stick Crane. Attendees will be able to use a chat box to ask questions during the entire training.
All information in accordance with all ANSI Z133 & OSHA standards.
Topics to be covered include –
- Job site & crane setup, reading/understanding crane charts & capabilities
- Rigging gear and techniques focused on “center of gravity rigging”
- Cutting techniques for the best outcome
- Work positioning
